Hey Emmanuelle,

there are several ways, but the easiest is to click on the little X in the "picture slideout" along the bottom:
RemoveBackgroundImage01.jpg
RemoveBackgroundImage01.jpg (39.04 KiB) Viewed 40200 times

The other way is to bring up the image manager again by going to "File -> Import...-> Import PNG/JPG" and then right click on the little thumbnail of your image and click on "Remove":
