Re: Pants with pockets!

You've already had a special place in my heart, even before you called your kid your spawn, hahaha, and I saw that as a deeply inclusive sign of total affection. Any actual demon spawn like child would probably rather prompt you to speak of your little :? angel, hahahaha! Oh, Ashley, the upcom...

Re: How to grade?

Yes, it is coming! Still a few more things to wrap up, but there are some pivotal improvements all around and the grading is super exciting! :hyper: Thing is, we desperately have to make proper videos for everything to give y'all the right head start. Especially grading is surprisingly easy to handl...

Re: Pants with pockets!

Wooot, I can't believe it, I didn't get an email notification about this gem! :o Tisk! But luckily, after weeks of programming like crazy, I finally thought to check on the forum only to get this wonderful surprise! :D For your "spawn" ...that's adorable! Those pants have suc...

Re: seam allowance tool adding unexpected lines

Uh, you have two polygons in this patternpiece , having made the dart inside a second one. Normally you would have this dart only as marking inside the patternpiece. You certainly wouldn't want the dart to have seam allowances. In Extract, when you turn on Auto Markings , it will automatically put s...

Re: Having trouble extracting some pattern pieces

No worries, if anything, it shows us that we should add an option to highlight small gaps, depending on zoom level and/or based on the fixed maximum threshold for the automatic closure of them. Definitely in the notes again! :tu:

Re: Having trouble extracting some pattern pieces

Got it, excellent, you're awesome, Amos, thank you! We've found the little hidden gap that snug up on you there. No problem at all. Maybe I'll make a video about the trick I told you in the email, because it can come in handy, I imagine. We really need to make more videos, that's for sure! Other tha...

Re: Having trouble extracting some pattern pieces

Hmmm, I've tried to reconstruct roughly your pattern, even going overboard with subdivisions and Bezier types, but it can't fail. To really understand what's going on, we would have to see your project. I really hope you don't mind sending it to us. It's actually fantastic when things like this happ...

Re: Having trouble extracting some pattern pieces

First of all: Welcome to the forum, Amos! What a most excellent first post, too! A video and everything, that's fantastic! Have you tried clicking in the upper portion of the pattern? Because there's one invisible part to the process, which is how extract scans into the line-work. It fi...

Re: Tutorial Wishlist

Oh dear, they are the most fun to show, too. Although, soon we have even more exciting tutorials to make. But, yes, great, slash and spread/pivot deserves a closer look. It's actually quite incredible what can be done with them. We also have planned updates for them, but I'm a little hesitant to men...
